In the first quarter of 2024, the French fitness and weight loss app market witnessed considerable activity. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner showed a steady increase in weekly active users, climbing from 590K to over 700K before settling at around 676K. Downloads peaked at around 55K in mid-February, and revenue trends saw a notable high of $12K during the first week of March.

The Strava: Run, Bike, Hike app experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue, with downloads hovering around the 30K to 40K range and revenue reaching a high of $146K in the last week of March. Weekly active users peaked at over 1.1M in the latter part of the quarter.

YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet displayed a declining trend in downloads, starting at 68K and dipping to 23K by the end of March. Revenue also saw a decrease, starting at $103K and reducing to around $57K. Active users remained fairly stable, with a slight decrease from 421K to 411K.

The Basic-Fit app's downloads showed a downward trend from 43K to around 21K. Despite not generating revenue, the app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users starting at 583K and reaching a high of 707K before closing the quarter at 631K.

Lastly, Macadam - Walk And Earn saw varied download numbers, with an exciting spike to 42K in the final weeks of March. The app's active users grew from 356K to 443K, indicating a growing interest in earning while staying fit.
